Drug Checking Services Available

Drug Checking is available through Vancouver Coastal Health, Interior Health and Fraser Health at no cost.

The drug checking utilizes BTNX Fentanyl Test Strips™ that enable individuals to check their drugs for contaminants like fentanyl.

Vancouver Coastal Heath - VCH offers free, anonymous drug checking services so people can determine what is in their substances, and potentially take action to reduce the risk of any associated harms.

Interior Health Authority - At Interior Health, drug checking is now offered by a variety of harm reduction service providers across the region. Drug checking is offered by appointment as well as drop-ins at some locations. Call ahead to find out more about services in your community.
